Company Overview:
Hytera Brazil is part of a multinational group operating in the communications and technology sector. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Specialist to oversee daily financial and accounting operations and ensure full compliance with Brazilian regulatory and tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial and accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, cash management, and month-end closing
- Ensure full compliance with Brazilian tax regulations, statutory reporting, and local tax authority requirements
- Prepare, review, and submit digital tax and accounting reports through SPED (including SPED Contábil, SPED Fiscal, etc.)
- Act as the key finance contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors
- Manage and review accounting records in TOTVS Protheus ERP system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Coordinate tax filings, reconciliations, and statutory financial statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required by management
- Ensure internal controls and compliance with company policies and multinational reporting standards
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams in a multinational corporate environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified accountant recognized by Brazilian tax or accounting authorities (CRC registration required)
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and compliance requirements, both in federal and state levels.
- Proven hands-on experience with SPED digital reporting
- Solid working experience with TOTVS Protheus ERP system
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles (preferably in a multinational company)
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience working in a multinational company environment is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
