With an industry-leading team of in-house energy experts, we are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc. and function as Canadian Solar's global development and power services business.About the Position:We are looking for a Business Development Analyst to support the continued growth of our renewable energy portfolio in Brazil.This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in renewable energy project development who is eager to contribute to the advancement of utility-scale projects from early-stage opportunity assessment through project maturity.The position offers broad exposure across project development activities, including greenfield evaluation, environmental permitting, stakeholder coordination, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional project execution.Responsibilities:• Evaluate new renewable energy project opportunities and strategic geographic areas to support portfolio growth• Support the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage assessment through Ready-to-Build• Coordinate and support key project development activities, including permitting, environmental processes, grid connection and land-related matters• Manage environmental permitting workflows in collaboration with external consultants and regulatory stakeholders• Support commercial discussions, contract management, and negotiations related to project development activities• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and development progress to support successful execution• Partner closely with internal teams including Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive project advancement• Support project planning, reporting, and financial tracking activities• Participate in site visits, field assessments, and other project-related activities as neededQualifications and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field• 3+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy project development, business development, or related infrastructure sectors• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects• Practical exposure to greenfield project development activities, including environmental permitting, land, grid connection or technical coordination• Experience with contract management and commercial negotiations• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment• Hands-on mindset, strong ownership, and proactive problem-solving approach• Advanced English proficiency is required• Strong Excel skillsAdditional Information:• Hybrid work model based in São Paulo• Occasional travel may be required
