Why This Role Stands Out: Work on cutting-edge energy projects involving BESS, EMS, hybrid systems, and power distribution Be part of a company with deep expertise in critical power and energy infrastructure Combine engineering, automation, and system integration in one role High level of ownership and technical responsibility Opportunity to work on international and technically challenging projects Work in an environment where innovation and practical engineering go hand in hand What You'll Do Design and develop electrical systems for advanced energy solutions Work on energy systems involving: Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Energy Management Systems (EMS) Hybrid power solutions Generator and backup power systems Create and maintain electrical drawings and technical documentation Configure and integrate PLC, SCADA, EMS, and generator control systems Work with communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP Support integration of generator controllers such as ComAp and DeepSea Participate in testing, synchronisation, FAT, SAT, and commissioning of hybrid energy systems Collaborate with project engineers, commissioning engineers, and automation specialists Analyse technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions Ensure systems comply with relevant technical standards and safety requirements Support continuous improvement of products and engineering processes What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, or similar Experience in electrical engineering within industrial, energy, or power-related environments Knowledge of: BESS / EMS systems Power distribution Industrial automation Hybrid energy systems Experience with generator control systems such as ComAp or DeepSea is highly preferred Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP Experience with electrical design software such as: EPLAN AutoCAD Electrical SEE Electrical Familiarity with generator systems, backup power, UPS, or critical power solutions is a strong plus Experience with FAT/SAT, synchronisation, and commissioning activities is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Hands-on and proactive attitude Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) EU work authorization or willingness to relocate (visa support possible for non-EU candidates) We Offer Long-term contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment Competitive salary, between €3,800 and €5,900, based on experience and technical background 30 days of leave per year with full-time employment and the possibility to buy extra days.
