IT Project Manager – Data Migration | Banking & Treasury Join NFQ! At NFQ, we offer a different consulting model: Flexible | Scalable | Specialized | Client-Centric We are looking for an IT Project Manager specialized in Data Migration programs to lead strategic migration initiatives from legacy database/reporting environments into corporate Treasury & Markets Data Lake ecosystems. This role is ideal for professionals with strong project management capabilities, experience in complex enterprise environments, and solid knowledge of data migration, reporting platforms, and banking ecosystems. Your Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end Data Migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Enterprise Data Lake environments Coordinate migration planning, execution, testing, cutover, and stabilization activities Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communication Coordinate Business, Data, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams Support data mapping, reconciliation, validation, and governance processes Oversee migration of IBM Cognos reports, packages, and reporting structures Ensure data quality, lineage, and continuity throughout migration cycles Provide project status updates and executive reporting Support migration strategy definition and post-migration optimization initiatives Technical Requirements: Proven experience leading Data Migration projects Strong experience with IBM Cognos and legacy reporting platforms Solid understanding of Enterprise Data Lake architectures Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data reconciliation Strong SQL and data analysis skills Experience with Azure, Databricks, Hadoop, or cloud data platforms Experience coordinating complex cross-functional IT projects Experience in banking, Treasury & Markets, or regulated financial environments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working between Business and IT teams Advanced English Nice to Have: Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Lineage Experience with regulatory or financial reporting environments Familiarity with Front-to-Back banking flows Agile methodologies (Jira / Confluence) API integrations and distributed architectures Previous consulting experience within Financial Institutions Work Model: Hybrid | São Paulo – SP What We Offer: International and collaborative environment Career growth and development opportunities Access to certifications and training Exposure to strategic banking and data transformation projects Continuous learning culture Competitive CLT benefits package Languages: Advanced English and or Intermediate Spanish What We Offer: International and collaborative environment; Technical development and career growth opportunities; Access to training and certifications; Exposure to strategic projects and modern technologies; Continuous learning culture; Learn more about us: nfq.es | LinkedIn NFQ Location: São Paulo, Brazil
