This is a technically driven organisation where quality, precision, and engineering integrity are central to everything they deliver.Vacancy InformationAs an Electrical Engineer, your focus sits firmly in the domain of high-voltage primary systems and the supporting structures required for the installation and mounting of HV components. This includes power transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage instrument transformers, cable and overhead line connections, and all associated civil and structural support arrangements.You will take full responsibility from basic design through detailed design and on to execution and project delivery. You will translate functional requirements into concrete technical solutions, prepare and review engineering documentation, and support the Lead Engineer and Technical Manager across all project phases. When design bottlenecks arise, you identify and resolve them. When quality checks are needed, you perform them.This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership and direct involvement from the earliest design stages through to final delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslating functional designs and client requirements into concrete technical designs and project plans for HV primary systems.Designing and verifying integrated solutions based on client specifications, applicable technical standards including IEC and ABNT, and relevant laws and regulations.Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, engineering drawings, calculations, and execution documents across all project phases.Supporting the Lead Engineer and Technical Manager from basic design in the preparation phase through to detailed execution design.Identifying and resolving design bottlenecks, reporting findings to the wider project team, and performing quality checks on deliverables.Working closely with civil, structural, and electrical disciplines to ensure that primary component installations are fully integrated and constructible.What You NeedBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a comparable technical field.Solid experience in high-voltage primary system design, with working knowledge of HV components such as power transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and instrument transformers including CTs and VTs.Familiarity with HV substation layouts, overhead line connections, cable termination arrangements, and supporting civil and structural requirements.Understanding of applicable technical standards and design codes relevant to high-voltage systems including IEC standards. Familiarity with ABNT NBR requirements is considered an advantage.Strong analytical thinking with the ability to develop and verify integrated technical solutions under project conditions.A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the drive to deliver quality outcomes for both the project and your own professional development.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
