About the role:In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the overall performance and operations of the Sportsbook vertical, ensuring an engaging and competitive betting experience for users. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring close collaboration with providers and internal departments such as CRM, Marketing, Risk, Product, and Compliance. The role is ideal for someone with strong sportsbook expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive operational growth in a fast-paced iGaming environment.Main Responsibilities:Lead the operational management and strategic direction of the Sportsbook area, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and market opportunities.Supervise sportsbook activities including betting markets, odds performance, campaign execution, and event positioning across the platform.Organize and maintain the sportsbook calendar according to international and local sporting events, tournaments, and seasonal opportunities.Maintain close communication with sportsbook providers to guarantee market availability, operational stability, and competitive betting experiences.Plan and manage promotional initiatives such as free bets, cashback offers, odds boosts, accumulator promotions, and event-specific campaigns.Track and analyze sportsbook KPIs including turnover, GGR, NGR, retention, conversion rates, and player engagement metrics.Coordinate with CRM and Marketing teams to align communication strategies and improve user acquisition and retention performance.Work together with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure exposure management, anti-fraud controls, betting limitations, and regulatory compliance standards.Serve as the main operational contact for sportsbook suppliers regarding integrations, incidents, configurations, and ongoing improvements.Ensure sportsbook content, banners, betting rules, and communications remain accurate and aligned with business priorities.Analyze betting patterns, customer behavior, and market performance data to identify optimization opportunities and support growth initiatives.Deliver regular reports to leadership teams regarding operational performance, risks, action plans, and strategic opportunities.Desired experience:Solid experience managing sportsbook operations within the iGaming, sportsbook, or online betting industry.Strong knowledge of sportsbook products, betting mechanics, player behavior, and promotional strategies.Business-focused mindset with understanding of sportsbook profitability, margins, operational KPIs, and commercial performance.Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.Experience working closely with departments such as CRM, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Compliance.Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret betting and operational data effectively.Excellent organizational abilities to manage campaigns, sports calendars, and multiple operational priorities simultaneously.Strong communication skills and experience managing relationships with providers and internal stakeholders.Advanced or fluent English for daily communication with international teams and partners.Experience in regulated markets, especially within Brazil, would be considered an advantage but is not essential.Familiarity with sportsbook back-office platforms, operational tools, and dashboards is a plus.Previous exposure to VIP, retention, or cross-sell initiatives involving Casino or Bingo products would be beneficial.
