They are focused on reducing operational friction and delivering a seamless digital experience in an industry traditionally dependent on manual processes.The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and scale a distributed engineering organization in a high-growth remote environment.This role will oversee multiple engineering teams and front-line engineering managers across a globally distributed organization. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who excels at building engineering culture, improving operational maturity, and helping teams execute effectively at scale.You will work closely with executive leadership, product management, and architecture leadership to drive engineering execution, organizational development, and technical excellence.What You'll Do:Lead and mentor engineering managers and technical leaders across multiple teamsBuild a strong engineering culture centered on accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvementScale engineering operations through effective hiring, onboarding, organizational planning, and career developmentImprove engineering processes, delivery predictability, and development workflows across teamsPartner with Product and cross-functional leadership to align technical execution with business prioritiesEstablish engineering best practices around architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and platform reliabilitySupport organizational growth by developing future leaders and strengthening management capabilitiesDrive alignment and communication across distributed engineering teams operating in multiple time zonesHelp create a high-performing, inclusive, and transparent remote-first environmentQualifications:8+ years of software engineering experience with significant engineering leadership responsibilityProven experience managing managers and overseeing multiple engineering teams in a scaling organizationStrong background in Agile delivery, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and modern software engineering operationsExperience scaling distributed engineering organizations in remote or hybrid environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to balance technical quality, delivery execution, and organizational healthStrong technical foundation with the ability to guide architectural and engineering decisionsExperience partnering closely with Product and executive leadershipCompensation & Benefits:Base salary: $175,000 USDFully remote - company HQ'd in the USOpportunity to help shape engineering strategy during a high-growth phase
