We are looking for a HR Shared Services & Payroll Specialist - United States to join us in a permanent position at our Office in São Paulo. Job Summary: Under general direction, the HR Shared Services & Payroll Specialist is responsible for executing payroll operations for the United States and delivering HR shared services support across the employee lifecycle for the United States and Brazil . This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains HR data integrity, and provides high-quality support to employees and managers. The position partners with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Processes payroll for the United States employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Reviews and validates payroll inputs including hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and deductions Audits payroll data and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll finalization Supports payroll compliance with applicable laws, tax regulations, and company policies Maintains payroll records, documentation, and audit trails Executes HR shared services transactions including hires, terminations, transfers, and employee data changes Ensures data accuracy across HRIS, payroll, and related systems Responds to employee and manager inquiries related to payroll, HR processes, and policies Partners with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee lifecycle processing Supports reconciliations including payroll, benefits, and general ledger alignment Assists with year-end processes such as tax reporting and annual compensation cycles Coordinates with vendors and systems to ensure smooth payroll and HR operations Identifies and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Ensures compliance with internal controls, audits, and documentation standards Provides reporting and insights on payroll and HR operations metrics Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 6-8 years of payroll, HR operations, or shared services Knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements for the United States Experience with payroll systems (e.G., ADP Total Source or similar) Experience working with payroll systems and vendors Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions for the United States Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Proficiency in English and the local language of the country or region supported, including strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Ability to work collaboratively across business teams Ability to make timely and effective decisions Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data Ability to adapt to changing business needs Communication skills in both verbal and in writing Strong organizational and time management skills Strong Critical thinking skills Strong Customer Service skills Strong Problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting global payroll operations Familiarity with HRIS systems and integrations Payroll-related certification(s) Work Environment: The role will be performed in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to equipment and machinery.
