Our software sits directly in clinical workflows, powering communication, outreach, and care coordination at scale across hundreds of organizations.We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully distributed engineering team building and scaling this platform in production.ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver full-stack features end-to-end (Rails backend + React frontend)Design and implement APIs, data models, and UI componentsWork with PostgreSQL, Sidekiq/Redis background jobs, and production-scale systemsContribute to system design and architecture decisions across the core platformWrite clean, tested, maintainable production codeMentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidanceCollaborate with product, data, and customer-facing teamsParticipate in production support/on-call rotationRequirements8+ years software engineering experienceStrong Ruby on Rails experience in production systemsStrong React and TypeScript/JavaScript experienceStrong SQL and PostgreSQL experienceExperience with distributed systems, APIs, and scalable backend architectureExperience with background job systems (Sidekiq, Redis, or equivalent)Experience building and maintaining production web applications end-to-endStrong communication skills in a remote-first environmentPreferredLarge Rails monolith experienceHealthcare, clinical, or data-heavy systemsMulti-tenant systems or role-based access controlREST/JSON API design at scale
