Chief Financial Officer - Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Client Profitability Pricing Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously refine pricing models to ensure competitive positioning and optimal profit margins Client Contract Negotiation: Lead the financial aspects of major client pitches and contract negotiations, structuring terms (payment schedules, scope creep handling, rate cards) that protect agency interests and profitability. Financial Planning, Analysis & Operations Oversee resource planning, analysing key metrics such as staff utilisation rates, billable capacity, and realisation rates across all departments. Drive strategies to increase efficiency and minimise non-billable time Budgeting & Forecasting: Overseeing the full financial planning cycle, including annual operating plans, departmental budgets, and rolling forecasts, with a heavy emphasis on labor and overhead costs M&A and Investment: Evaluate potential agency acquisitions, divestitures, and major technology investments, providing rigorous due diligence and financial integration oversight Technology & Systems: Ensure agency finance systems (e.g., time tracking, project management, ERP) provide accurate, timely data necessary for commercial decision-making. Financial Control, Reporting & Compliance Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to a matrix structure locally and globally at a group level Internal Controls: Establish and monitor robust internal financial controls and risk management procedures appropriate for an agile, high-growth agency environment. Compliance: Oversee all tax, legal, and statutory Leadership & Stakeholder Management Executive Partnership: Serve as the strategic financial voice on the Executive Leadership Team, translating commercial metrics into clear strategic imperatives. Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor the finance and operations teams, fostering a culture of commercial partnership and business-oriented analysis Chief Financial Officer - Required Experience Must have prior experience operating as a CFO Qualified accounting holding CRC or CPA equivalent Experience of managing multi entity and multi regional businesses Prior media, creative or marketing services sector experience is essential Be located in or near Sao Paulo with relevant work permits or citizenship Fluent English and Portuguese language skills Spanish language skills are also beneficial Package - $750-880,000 BRL plus benefits
