Opportunity – Data Engineer (Senior) | Brazil | Remote Hi everyone, We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global project supporting a leading multinational company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, building scalable data solutions that support decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives. What you will be doing: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models Work across data lake environments, Snowflake, and Hive-based architectures Support analytics, reporting, and business performance monitoring Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders Enable data infrastructure for machine learning and AI initiatives Contribute to the development of data products and applications (including Streamlit and chatbot-based solutions) Help evolve the data and ML ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovation What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms Strong experience with SQL and Python Hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark Experience building and maintaining data pipelines Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools) Experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse solutions) Strong knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance Experience with Git / version control Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Fluent English (mandatory) Nice to have: Experience with data lake / hybrid data environments Experience supporting ML pipelines or AI initiatives Exposure to Streamlit, data apps, or chatbots Experience in global / cross-functional environments Details: Location: Brazil (Remote) Type: Contract Work setup: Home-based
