Role Overview As the Team Lead for Portuguese Sketches, you oversee the end-to-end production workflow, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and timely delivery of localized content. You lead a cross-functional team and ensure alignment between English and Portuguese Sketches while maintaining strict audio, visual, and subtitle quality standards. In addition to overseeing production workflow, this role functions as a key operational stabilizer within the Portuguese content ecosystem. The Team lead ensures asset readiness, prevents production bottlenecks, bridges cross-time-zone collaboration, and safeguards content integrity across localized adaptations, enabling consistent and reliable execution at scale. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Workflow Management Team Leadership & Workflow Management: Assign daily tasks, prioritize deliverables, and ensure smooth coordination across Video Editors and QC Specialists. Production Continuity Ownership: Ensure editors are never blocked due to missing assets, incomplete folders, or lack of resource preparation. Proactively prepare videos, audios, scripts, and subtitles before daily production begins. Cross-Team Asset Coordination: Act as liaison between Spanish/Portugeuse production, US content teams, and India stakeholders to request, follow up, and secure required assets in a timely manner. Process Standardization: Develop and maintain internal documentation (SOPs, transition guides, tracking frameworks) to support workflow clarity, team alignment, and smooth leadership transitions. Reporting, Assets & Documentation Reporting & Performance Tracking: Submit daily performance reports and monitor output, quality, and timelines. Asset & Process Management: Oversee asset organization, repository accuracy, and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. Repository & Documentation Management: Maintain structured asset repositories, matching sheets, and tracking documents to ensure transparency and avoid duplication, inconsistencies, or production gaps. Quality & Content Oversight Quality Oversight: Ensure full synchronization between visuals, audio, and subtitles; consistent visual style; complete audio mix (vocals, music, SFX); and no unintended logos or asset errors. English–Portuguese Alignment: Maintain narrative and visual coherence between source and localized content. Content Integrity Assurance: Monitor alignment between English source content and Portuguese localized assets across motion episodes, still episodes, promo videos, and thumbnails to ensure narrative coherence and platform consistency. Operations & Issue Resolution Technical Issue Resolution: Address audio/video sync issues, asset inconsistencies, and day-to-day production challenges. Daily Operational Troubleshooting: Resolve audio inconsistencies, subtitle mismatches, CMS issues, visual discrepancies, and asset errors to maintain high production standards. Reporting, Assets & Documentation Reporting & Performance Tracking: Submit daily performance reports and monitor output, quality, and timelines. Asset & Process Management: Oversee asset organization, repository accuracy, and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. Repository & Documentation Management: Maintain structured asset repositories, matching sheets, and tracking documents to ensure transparency and avoid duplication, inconsistencies, or production gaps. Operations & Issue Resolution Technical Issue Resolution: Address audio/video sync issues, asset inconsistencies, and day-to-day production challenges. Daily Operational Troubleshooting: Resolve audio inconsistencies, subtitle mismatches, CMS issues, visual discrepancies, and asset errors to maintain high production standards. Risk Prevention & Escalation: Identify operational risks (delays, inconsistencies, technical issues) early and escalate proactively to prevent impact on timelines and overall production output. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Audio Production, Linguistics, Media, or a related field. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with advanced knowledge of Portuguese grammar and orthography. Proven experience in quality control, audio/video production, or a related content operations role. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (including Premiere); familiarity with CMS platforms required. Experience reviewing AI-generated content is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a critical eye for audiovisual quality and consistency. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Demonstrated ability to act as operational backbone in high-volume content environments, ensuring production continuity and workflow stability. Proven experience anticipating production risks (asset gaps, sync inconsistencies, narrative misalignment) and implementing preventive solutions before escalation. Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with experience bridging expectations between international stakeholders (e.g., US and India teams) and local production teams. Experience building structured documentation, repositories, and tracking systems that enhance team clarity and reduce operational friction. Ability to maintain narrative and technical coherence despite creative divergence across markets. High level of ownership and accountability over end-to-end production outcomes. Strategic operational mindset with the ability to balance creative integrity, technical precision, and workflow efficiency. Language requirements Fluent Portugese Professional working proficiency in English This role will be working with stakeholders in English on a regular basis. Salary for this position is R$7,000 - $10,000 BRL.
