Purpose As the Global Network Operations Leader, you will oversee the comprehensive management and direction of our network operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability on a global scale. This critical role involves managing a managed service partner to deliver superior network operations and support services . Main Responsibiliti es Oversee the day-to-day network operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and incident response, to ensure high availability and performan ce. Oversee the escalation process, ensuring timely resolution of critical network issues and minimizing impact on business operati ons. Supervise routine maintenance activities, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively to prevent unplanned downtime and extend the life of network as sets. Lead change management processes for network operations, including planning, approval, and implementation of network changes to ensure minimal disruption and adherence to best prac tices. Act as the primary liaison with our managed service partner, ensuring they meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Continuously assess and improve network performance, reliability, and security, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision -making. Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements, leading initiatives to implement innovative s olutions. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential network disruptions and ensure business c ontinuity. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on network performance, issues, and im provements. Ensure compliance with relevant Orbia infrastructure standards, regulations, and security protocols to protect the organization's network infrastructure. Take care of reg ular audits. Knowledge and experie nce requiered Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldLanguage(s) and level of proficiency: English (fluen t) and SpanishIn-depth knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network mon itoring tools.Proficiency in network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, O SPF, and MPLS.Experience with network security best practices and technologies, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network a ccess control.Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google C loud with deploying, configuring, and testing netw ork equipment.Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ans ible, Python). Management & commu nication Skills Experience in managing relationships with MSP, vendor s and suppliers.Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, sen ior management). Re levant Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global n etwork experience working with and managing relationships with managed service partners.Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.ITIL certif ication is a plus.
