Supply Chain Specialist
DyStar is seeking to fulfill an important role to support the Supply Chain for Brazil. The successful candidate will have 1- 2 years’ supply chain experience.
Must be able to communicate in English with the Americas Regional Headquarters in the United States and with the Global Headquarters in Singapore- must have good skills in writing and speaking. Basic Spanish is also needed.
Job Summary:
- This role helps to provide product shipments to meet DyStar's business and customer requests worldwide.
- Provides internal logistics coordination for Indigo's local businesses.
- Conducts local logistics RFQs, providing cost savings for DyStar.

Job Responsibilities:
- Issues invoices, packing lists, and certificates of analysis based on the order and local invoice, verifying items such as product, quantity, weight, sales deadline, and type of transport.
- Send export process documentation to the customs broker, carrier, and warehouse where the product is located, verifying the adequacy of the export declaration, and following up with the carrier regarding shipment confirmation.
- Informs the international customer about the order status, or in case of product shortages, informs the local factory to make them available.
- Enter the orders into the export software, typing in the data based on the export request.
- It handles the company's requests for international mail delivery, based on departmental requests, and prompts the service provider to send the materials.
- Receives the bill of lading, checks the items against the invoice, attaches the other documents, and sends it to the customer.
- It monitors the national transport of products from warehouses to the airport and/or port, scheduling collection in advance and monitoring the carrier's work.
- Send the export instructions to the customs broker, providing all the details of the process to enable the issuance of the export declaration, verifying the data when it is sent, and requesting changes when errors occur before the cargo is shipped.
- Monitors requests for funds for export expenses submitted by the customs broker, verifying the accuracy of the amounts and requesting payment from the finance department.
- Coordinates the loading and invoicing of the product with the supplier.
- Performs logistical coordination of product transportation to the customer.
- It tracks the vehicle's status in transit between the supplier, carrier, DyStar warehouse, and customer.
- Quotes for sea, air, and land freight related to the activity performed.
- Contacting transport companies, customs brokers, warehouse suppliers, among others, to carry out internal RFQs (Request for Quotations).
- It follows the procedures for signing a contract between DyStar and logistics-related suppliers, following the completion of the RFQs.
- Sends Indent orders from local customers directly to headquarters in Singapore and enters order data into the ARP system (product data, quantity, shipping type, sales deadline and shipping location).
- It coordinates with the company DyStar in Singapore to send the original documents directly to customers.
- Coordination of coastal shipping processes, from collection at the factory to delivery to the end customer.
- Sends internal reports (freight, savings, etc.) to the DyStar company in Singapore.
- Verification of orders and payment requests from several suppliers in the logistics department.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- A degree in International Trade, International Business, International Relations or related degree preferred and
- 1 - 2 years of supply chain experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills and good negotiation skills
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
- Bilingual Portuguese-English required;
Basic Spanish required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
This is an on-site role in Sao Paulo (not open to remote or hybrid work).
