As we expand our operations, we are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional in the technical commercial area of Paper to join our team.Position OverviewResponsible for planning, developing, and implementing the R&D pipeline, working collaboratively with the production team to support the implementation of new technologies, and facilitating the execution of assessments in accordance with global guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise the activities of the Polymers Laboratory, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and technical goals.Lead research, development, and innovation projects focused on polymers used in processes and applications for the coatings, construction, adhesives, and paper industries.Develop, test, validate, and optimize chemical formulations and new products.Manage the team of researchers, technicians, and interns, fostering technical development and alignment with strategic objectives.Work in an integrated manner with Production, Quality, and Commercial areas.Monitor technological trends, new raw materials, and innovations in the chemical and paper markets.Prepare technical reports, technical opinions, project documentation, and results presentations.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality standards, and good laboratory practices.Support industrial trials and the implementation of new products with customers.Required Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques and laboratory testing.Intermediate or advanced technical English and Spanish.Minimum 5 years of experience in development laboratory (Emulsion polymerization).Minimum 2 years of management experience
